                           Suspect(s) smashed rear window of vehicle.  No property loss.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  10/11/12   3PM to 7PM  2000 Block 235th St
      Suspect(s) possible entered open window and took laptop and jewelry.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  10/8/12  10AM to 2:30PM  24400 Block Walnut St
      Suspect(s) cut screen, removed window for entry.  Unknown loss at time of report.

Message from Torrance Police Department   Thursday Afternoon, October 18th

                       A propane type ordor has been noted in the southeast portion of the city and is now moving north. The cause is believed to be from a source outside the city. All readings show no health impact for the city                                          *****


Torrance Planning Commission Meeting, Wednesday, October 17, 2012
The Planning Commission voted 4-3 to deny with prejudice an application for a Rock & Brew
Restaurant and Craft Beer at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Palos Verdes Blvd.
