Auto Theft     June 11th 1PM  1900 Block 237th Street (Walnut-Cabrillo)  Stolen 96 Honda Accord

Theft              June 12th 1:30PM  2000 Block 231st St ( Cabrillo- Arlington)
                       Suspect takes property from unattended backpack/cell phone

Battery           June 15th 3:29PM  1700 Block 235th St (Western-Walnut)
                       Suspect punches victim in the face.

Updates in Torrance

Simon Property Group has been granted another two-year time extension for a previously
approved permit to development 101,000 square feet of new retail area and two parking
structures at the Del Amo Mall. 

Walmart has announced they will be opening the new store on Hawthorne Blvd on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
