Residential Burglary  Monday, May 7th 7:15AM  23700 Block Arlington Avenue
  Suspect was in the process of opening the victim's door and was confronted by
  the occupant who was in the residence.  No entry, no loss.

Commercial Burglary  Thurs, May 10th  1AM  2400 Block Sepulveda Blvd (Pennsylvania)
  Suspect(s) entered business by unknown means, forced open storage container and
  took property/cash.

Residential Burglary  Thurs, May 10th  4PM  23800 Block Stanhurst Ave
  between Cabrillo & Walnut, two blocks south of Sur La Brea Park
  Suspect(s) forced open door, ransack and took property/jewelry.

Auto - Vandalism                                             23300 Block Walnut St
  Suspect(s) attempted to remove side view mirror from SUV.  $750 in damage.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
