Southeast Torrance Weekly Crime Report for Sunday, April 15th through Saturday, April 21,2012

 After three weeks of no reportable crimes in the SETHA area, six incidents were reported last week.

Residential Burglary   4/17    9:15AM-10:35AM   23300 Block Huber Avenue
Suspect(s) removed screen, entered window and took property/laptop, jewelry.

Residential Burglary   4/17    10:19AM      2500 Block 227th Street (Crenshaw Blvd)
Suspect(s) smashed window for entry, ransacked and took property/laptop, camera,
camera equipment, jewelry..

Auto Burglary             4/20  10:30AM-12PM  237th St and Cabrillo Avenue
Suspect(s) entered unlocked vehicle and took property/wallet, cell phone.

Auto Burglary             4/21  8:30AM-10:30AM  2000 Block 231st St (Cabrillo Ave)
Suspect(s) punched door lock for entry and took property/purse, camera, camcorder,
gym bag, watch.

Vandalism                   4/15  9:30AM-2PM  2100 Block 237th St (Cabrillo-Arlington)
Eggs thrown at vehicle causing paint damage.

Vandalism                    4/20 10PM - 4/21 8:23AM  1700 Block 234th St (Falena-Western)
Suspect(s0 kicked victim's vehicle door causing damage.

Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling for Torrance Residents Only

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
