A New Torrance Newspaper

 Herald Publications will be delivering a free newspaper to Torrance residents in the 90501,90503 and 90505 zip codes on the 4th or 5th of November 2010.  It will be a weekly paper with 16 to 25 pages with just local Torrance news.

The website, http://www.heraldpublications.com/, will be available on Saturday, October 9th.  Herald Publications currently publishes the El Segundo Herald, Manhattan Beach Sun, and three other local papers.

They are looking for paid part-time writers and photographers who are interested in submitting articles and pictures.  You may contact them at management@heraldpublications.com.

City of Torrance Public Works is holding an Earth Day recycling event for free paper shredding and electronics recycling. Saturday, August 21, 2021 8 a.m. - noon Torrance City Hall East Employee Parking Lot (near Torrance Courthouse off Maple Avenue) The Recycling Event is for TORRANCE RESIDENTS ONLY.
