Weekly Crime Report and Police Chase in Southeast Torrance

Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance The data for the report is not available this week.  The report will resume when the information is made available.   Torrance Police Activity in Southeast Torrance, Thursday, October 19th, Morning   Unconfirmed reports indicate three juvenile suspects, not residents of Torrance, were observed in a stolen vehicle in the Del Amo Target parking lot by Torrance Police.   The stolen vehicle drove away from the parking lot with Torrance Police in pursuit and headed east on Sepulveda Blvd in what could be described as a “reckless manner”.    The vehicle was stopped in the 1800 Block of 235th Street (235th and Walnut) with the three suspects attempting to run away from Torrance Police.  All three juvenile suspects were arrested by Torrance Police.    John Bailey, President Southeast Torrance Homeowners’ Association, Inc. STEM Low Altitude Military Flights over the South Bay on Friday, October 13TH

    The flight path will be at an altitude low enough for easy viewing by the public. Check out the projected flyover time in your area on the links below. The flights are part of a two-day event -- an Edwards AFB Family Day Oct. 13 and the Run with History event Oct. 14 – that mark both the 70th anniversary of supersonic flight and the U.S. Air Force’s 70th Birthday.   This report is for Sunday, September 24, 2017 through Saturday, September 30, 2017 51 items were listed on the report.   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY There was 1 in Torrance. 9 30 2017  8 PM    Hollywood Riviera    500 Block Calle Mayor Suspect removed screen on open window for entry, ransacked property and possibly interrupted by victim returning home.  No loss.   AUTO BURGLARY There were 14 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance. 9 25 2017  11 AM to 9 26 2017  9:30 AM  24200 Huber Avenue Suspect took property from unlocked vehicle/sunglasses, wallet, fidget spinner and challenge coin.   Items stolen this week included tools, backpack, purses ( ), dvd’s, shoes, jacket, registration (2), seat, headrest, center console, stereo, laptop, case, eye glasses, notary bag, notary stamps, notary log, Bible, school supplies, bag, clothes, flashlights, garage remote, wallet, key, clothes, electron...
