Weekly Crime Report for Southeast Torrance and More.............


This report is for Sunday, November 30, 2014 through Saturday, December 6, 2014.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 7 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
5 were in North Torrance and 2 in West Torrance.  Doors were
unlocked in 3 of the incidents.  In West Torrance, suspect rang
door bell and attempted to open front and side doors but did
not make entry.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 7 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
NO PARKING – STREET SWEEPING SIGNS
New “No Parking – Street Sweeping” signs have been installed in some areas of Southeast Torrance.  Signs restrict parking for
a 3-hour period on one day a week. There will be a 3- week grace period before parking citations will be issued.

This report is for Sunday, July 11, 2021 through Saturday, July 17, 2021. 45 incidents reported in the City of Torrance Crime Log at: https://www.torranceca.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/67336/637625553607530000 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 3 in Torrance. 1 each in Southeast Torrance, Old Torrance and the Hillside area. Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
