RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 7 in Torrance.
3 in North Torrance, 1 in Old Torrance, 1 in Seaside Ranchos, 1 in Southwood and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
In the Southwood incident, the suspect entered through an open, second story sliding glass door.
In the Seaside Ranchos incident, the suspect damaged screens on open upstairs windows but did not gain entry.
In the Old Torrance incident, the suspect attempted to force an open window but did not gain entry.
In one of the North Torrance incidents, suspect entered through an unlocked door and at another house, suspect forcibly removed plywood covering the door opening but got interrupted by Torrance Police.
The Southeast Torrance incident was in the 2200 Block of 232nd Street (Arlington) between September 17th and 20th.
Suspect cut screen, entered window, ransacked and took jewelry, electronics.
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 9 in Torrance and 2 in Southeast Torrance.
Friday, September 19th, 8:32AM, 23400 Block Arlington Ave
Suspect entered unlocked vehicle and took remote, flashlight, pocket knife, camping knife,
gift card, key, registration and insurance.
Thursday, September 18th, 11PM to Friday, September 19th, 5PM, 24200 Block Walnut St
Suspect entered vehicle by unknown means and took school kit.
