January 2 5:30PM to January 3 8:45AM  Auto Burglary  1900 Block 235th St (Walnut/Cabrillo)
Suspect enters vehicle by unknown means, ransacks and takes sunglasses, bag, makeup, new wallets, crate of toys.

January 1 4:30PM to January 2 3AM       Auto Theft   23700 Block Arlington
1997 Nissan Sentra stolen

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
