This report is for Sunday, November 17, 2013 through Saturday, November 23, 2013 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES There were 7 residential burglaries in Torrance and none reported in Southeast Torrance. 5 were in North Torrance and 2 in the Riviera area. At the 4900 Block Newton Avenue incident, suspect posed as a landscape worker and distracted the victims in the backyard while another suspect entered the residence and took jewelry & cash. AUTO BURGLARIES There were 6 automobile burglaries in Torrance and one in Southeast Torrance. Monday, November, 18th 2:30AM to 10:30 AM 1700 Block Sepulveda Blvd (Western Avenue) Suspect punched door lock and took stereo.
