 This report is for Sunday, April 14th through Saturday, April 20, 2013   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY        Thursday, April 18th, 6:30pm to 9:15pm 2400 Block 231st St  (Arlington to Pennsylvania) Suspect smashed sliding glass door for entry, ransacked and took property/jewelry.   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY        Friday, April 19th, 5:30pm to 11pm 2000 Block 234th St (Cabrillo to Arlington) Suspect  smashed glass door for entry, ransacked.  Unknown property loss at time of report.   Note:  Most of the residential burglaries in our area have been in the daytime.  These two were in the evening.   AUTO – BURGLARY                Sunday, April 14th, 9pm to Monday, April 15th 10:30am 2000 Block 235th (Walnut to Cabrillo) Suspect pried door lock.  No entry, ...

 This report is for Sunday, April 7th through Saturday, April 13, 2013 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  Wednesday, April 10th  Noon - 8:45PM 2000 Block 235th Place (Walnut - Cabrillo) Suspect(s) smashed glass of sliding door for entry, ransacked and took jewelry, paperwork, cash, gun and safe. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  Thursday, April 11th  Noon - 7PM 1900 Block 234th Street (Walnut - Cabrillo) Suspect(s) entered unlocked and open window while house was tented for fumigation.  Ransacked and took property/jewelry. VANDALISM  Thursday, April 11th, 11AM Sur La Brea Park Restroom Suspect(s) tagged restroom interior. THEFT Wednesday, Aril 10th, 6:45AM to 1PM 235th and Crenshaw Suspect(s) entered business and took property from locker in employee room including wallet, iPod and sunglasses.

Free Paper Shredding, Free Mulch and More..........

    This Saturday, the City is hosting an Earth Day Event .  The day will include free paper shredding, mulch give-away , and . . . recycling drop off for electronics, clothing, shoes used oil and filters . Weekly Crime Log for Southeast Torrance

This report is for Sunday, March 31, 2013 through Saturday, April 6, 2013 There were no reported incidents in Southeast Torrance. There were five incidents of auto burglary on Thursday, April 4th during the period between 6AM and 7:35PM in the 3300 and 3400 blocks of Lomita Blvd (Torrance Memorial area).  The door locks on the vehicles were punched for entry and the third row seats removed from five vehicles.

This report is for Sunday, March 17, 2013 through Saturday, March 30, 2013.   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY      Sunday, March 17th, Noon to Tuesday, March 26th, 2PM 1900 Block 232nd St Glass door smashed for entry, ransacked and took property, safe, documents, jewelry and pillowcase.   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY    Monday, March 18th, 9AM to 6PM 1800 Block Middlebrook Road (Walnut St) Glass in door broken for entry, ransacked and took property, tablets, jewelry.   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  Wednesday, March 20th, 5PM to 9PM 23700 Cabrillo Avenue Glass in door broken for entry and residence ransacked.  Loss not known at time of report.   RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY  Friday, March 22nd, 12:50PM 1900 Block 233rd St (Walnut) Suspect removed window screen.  No entry and no loss.   VANDALISM                 ...

Road Closure in Torrance for Wednesday, April 3, 2013

  The Following Road Closures are for Wednesday April 3rd from 8AM to 4PM. Southbound Maple Ave will be closed at Plaza Del Amo. Local traffic will have access south of Plaza Del Amo to the driveway on the east side of Maple Ave for the Chatelaine complex. Northbound traffic on Maple Ave will be prohibited from crossing Sepulveda Blvd. Only left or right turns onto Sepulveda Blvd. will be allowed. Eastbound left-turns from Sepulveda Blvd on to northbound Maple Ave will be prohibited. Westbound right-turns from Sepulveda Blvd on to northbound Maple Ave will be prohibited
