RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There was 1 in North Torrance and it was robbed twice.
1/22/2020  11:30 AM and 7:30 PM  3800 Block 176th Court
Open garage pedestrian door pried opened with golf clubs and extension cord taken.
Later the front door deadbolt lock was removed and clothes and a TV were taken.
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 7 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1 vehicle was unlocked, 2 vehicles had windows smashed for entry and 4 vehicles
entered by unknown means.
AUTO THEFT
There were 9 vehicles stolen in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
3 ATV’s were stolen from the 400 Block of Alaska Ave on the weekend of January 25th.
THEFT
There were 12 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
5 catalytic converters stolen, 2 batteries, 1 stolen license plate and a delivered
parcel was stolen from the porch in the 20500 Block of Amie Avenue.
ROBBERY-STRONG ARM
There were 2 incidents in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
1/19/2020 12:15 PM  2700 Block Cabrillo Av (Santa Fe Av)
Suspect charged victim, attempted to punch him, stole his cell phone and fled.
1/21/2020 25300 Block Crenshaw Blvd
Suspects approached victim, demanded his property, punched him in the face
and kicked him when he fell to the ground.  No property loss.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
