Pickleball Courts Proposed for Sur La Brea Park

The City of Torrance Parks and Recreation Commission will be hosting a discussion regarding the addition
of Pickleball lines to one of the Tennis Courts at Sur La Brea Park.

This discussion is a result of continuing requests from the public for Pickleball Courts in Torrance.
The proposal will be to add over stripping to one of the two courts, leaving a dedicated Tennis Court.
The second court would remain a tennis court, however,  it would double as 2 or 4 Pickleball courts.
The options for discussion would be the addition of 2 or 4 Pickleball courts, as well as which of the two courts would best serve the park users.

Meeting Date:            Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 7 p.m.
Where:                        Torrance City Hall (Not at Sur La Brea Park Meeting Room)
                                             West Annex Commission Meeting Room
