RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 3 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
1 in North Torrance on Friday, December 14th at 3:50 AM when the suspect attempted to pry open a
window but was startled by the homeowner and fled.
 
1 in the Riviera on Monday, December 10th at 9:45PM when the suspect smashed a rear kitchen glass door in an attempt to enter but fled when confronted by the homeowner.
 
1 in Southwood on Monday, December 10th after 9:30 PM when the suspect smashed a window in
an attempt to gain entry but fled when the homeowner turned on a light.
 
AUTO BURGLARY
There were 9 in Torrance, none in Southeast Torrance with 2 in the 3500 Block of Carson Street.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 7 in Torrance, none in Southeast Torrance with 1 in the 3500 Block of Carson Street.
 
THEFT
There were 12 incidents, none in Southeast Torrance and 3 reports of porch piracy.
2 stolen parcels in Southwood on December 11th between 4:30 PM and 7:16 PM.
1 stolen parcel in Old Torrance on December 11th between 12:42 PM and 6:30 PM.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
