RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 2 in Torrance.  1 in Southeast Torrance and 1 in the Hollywood Riviera area.
 
9 21 17 7:30 PM to 9 22 17 8:45 AM   100 Block Vista Del Parque  Suspect took bicycles from open garage.
 
9 22  17   2:53 PM to 3:55PM              23800 Block Pennsylvania Ave  Suspect entered residence via
                                                              laundry chute and took jewelry and documents.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 13 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Windows were smashed in 6 vehicles for entry, locks punched in 3 vehicles,  unknown entry in 2 vehicles
and 2 vehicles were unlocked.
 
Items stolen included:  wallet(3), passport, tablet, cash (3), pay check, ID, CD’s, CD case, cell phone,
baseball equipment, credit cards, gift card, medical card, purse, registration, charger, backpack (2), laptop (2),
and medicine.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 4 stolen vehicles in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
THEFT
11 thefts were reported in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
Catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles in North Torrance.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
