This report is for Sunday, September 10, 2017 through Saturday, September 16, 2017.
There were 50 incidents on the report.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 4 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance
2 in the Hollywood Riviera, 1 in Old Torrance and 1 in North Torrance.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 6 in Torrance and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
3 were in North Torrance, 1 in Old Torrance and 1 in a non-residential area.
 
9 13 to 9 14 2017    23500 Crenshaw Blvd  2002 Chevrolet Suburban stolen.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 13 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
5 in North Torrance, 2 in Southwood Riviera, 2 in Old Torrance,  2 in West Torrance.
1 in Wilson Park and 1 in a non-residential area.
2 vehicles were unlocked and windows were smashed in 8 vehicles.
 
Items stolen included:  backpack, suitcase, clothing, shoes, cameras, watches (2), laptop, purses (3), credit cards,
paperwork, tools, cash, bag, debit card, driver’s license, check stubs, tool box, tablets (2), wallet (2), charger and
first aid kit. 
 
BANK ROBBERY – WEAPON
9 13 2017, Wednesday, 5:45PM  Chase Bank, 17200 Hawthorne Blvd
Suspect enters open bank, presents note demanding money and stating she is armed then flees when
teller gives her the money/cash. 
No description of suspect available. 
 
THEFT
There were 18 incidents reported in Torrance including 1 in Southeast Torrance.
9 13 2017, Wednesday, 3:45 PM to 6 PM  23500 Block Arlington Avenue  Delivered parcel stolen from porch.
3 catalytic converters were stolen in North Torrance and 1 in Torrance Gardens.  License plates were removed
from 3 parked vehicles in North Torrance.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
