This report is for Sunday, July 17, 2016 through Saturday, July 23, 2016.
72 incidents were reported to Torrance Police.
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There were 6 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
4 in North Torrance and 1 each in Olde Torrance and Walteria.
 
AUTO BURGLARIES
There were 22 in Torrance and none in Southeast Torrance.
3 were reported in the 2600 Block of PCH, 1 in the 3400 Block of Carson,
1 in the 3500 Block of Carson and 1 in the 3600 Block of Fashion Way.
Third row seats were taken from two vehicles.
 
AUTO THEFT
There were 4 stolen vehicles and 1 in Southeast Torrance.
Tuesday, July 19th 11:30 to 11:45 AM, 235th and Cabrillo  1995 Ford Van
 
THEFT
There were 19 reported thefts and none in Southeast Torrance.
 
ROBBERY – WEAPON
There was one incident in Southeast Torrance.
Monday, July 18th, 6:20PM, 230th St and Arlington Ave
Suspect brandished a knife and demanded victim’s wallet.

Southeast Torrance 7 12 5PM 2400 Block 235th Place Suspect entered open garage, entered residence via open access door, fled when resident yelled at him. No property loss Old Torrance 7 12 1AM 800 Block Portola Ave Suspected entered residence via unlocked door and fled when victim woke up in the bedroom. Hillside 7 16 2:44AM 2500 Ridgeland Rd Glass Panel removed to unlock door for entry, Suspects fled when victim awoke, screamed and chased them out of the residence.
