PURSE THEFTS - GABLE HOUSE BOWL 01 OCT 08 Since September 4, 2008, there have been four separate incidents wherein female victims bowling at the GABLE HOUSE BOWL, located at 22501 Hawthorne Blvd., have had their purses stolen. Immediately following the theft on September 15th, the suspect used the victim's credit card at a nearby grocery store. The thefts have occurred weekday and weekend nights, primarily between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his 40s with dark hair, wearing prescription glasses. He was also in the company of a Hispanic female juvenile who was probably sitting in the stroller believed to have been used to conceal the stolen purse while inside the Gable House Bowl. The suspect vehicle is described as a maroon colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet with a light colored decal in the lower left rear window.
