Subject: Rockefeller Property at 2470 Lomita Blvd, Torrance Thirteen months ago, SETHA held a public meeting on the development of the vacant parcel of land at 2740 Lomita Blvd. This is the area between Costco and Lomita Blvd. A development is proposed to subdivide the existing parcel into three. One parcel would be developed into a mixture of medical, professional office and light industrial pad buildings totaling 210,066 square feet. No improvements have been proposed for the remaining two parcels. The Public Review Period of an initial study finding to complete an Environmental Impact Report begins on December 26, 2007 and ends on January 25, 2008. The initial study is available for review at the City of Torrance Community Development Dept, 2nd Floor, East Wing of City Hall. It IS NOT available at the Southeast Torrance Library .
